The Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) is pleased to announce a webcast on its newly-issued Exposure Drafts, Accounting and Financial Reporting for Postemployment Benefits Other Than Pensions and Financial Reporting for Postemployment Benefit Plans Other Than Pension Plans. The areas covered will include:
  1. Background of the project
  2. Proposed recognition and measurement of OPEB
  3. Proposed requirements for note disclosures and required supplementary information
  4. Proposed reporting requirements for OPEB plans
  5. A question and answer period.
